We had a rainy but successful morning flight. Tomas Haban won balloonpins.eu’s task with 13.89 m (FIN) and Michael Suchy won the balloons4sale.eu’s task with 0,59 m (HWZ). Blai Carbonell (ESP) performed 95 m but it was enough for 214 points only because most of them made great drops.
The wind is calmed and forecast promise big direction changing for tonight. Three tasks on the task sheet in third flight: MDT, LRN, FON.

A warm front passed the area at night. Only four tasks are on the Task sheet because we are expecting some drizzles before noon.

We had the task briefing. PDG, FIN and HWZ are on the task sheet. The pilots was confused a bit with the PDG limitation and the any order but no was change in the task sheet. You may find the task sheet here.
Czech National Championship 2012, Radesín (updated)
The Czech National Championship 2012 will start tomorrow in Radesín. We are waiting 14 pilots. The first Spanish pilot Blai Carbonell Rodriguez will participate on the Event too. Ther organisers are did great job and we have target list too already. We have a night the enjoy the excellent Czech beer.

Rokas Kostiuskevicius is the first Junior World Champion
Last Task Sheet of the 1st FAI Junior Hot Air Balloon Championship
The Event Debriefing of the 1st FAI Junior Hot Air Balloon Championship will start at 17:00. The last task briefing will start 18:30. The Task sheet is ready: calculated rate of approach task and Minimum distance time. Two take-off is permitted.
Rokas Kostiuskevicius was the best pilot after 10 tasks but three tasks results are not published. The championship is still open.

A cold front approaching the area. Flight will be cancelled on the Task Briefing at 18:30 26/05/2012. No more competiton flight on 1st FAI Junior Hot Air Balloon Championship.
Sunny morning with 5 tasks
Sunny but little bit cold morning, common launch from the city. We made the early wake-up for the citizens.
Five tasks in the Task Sheet: JDG, HWZ, Pilot Declared Race to an Area, Elbow and Fly on.
The Pilot Declared Race to an Area is a modified Race to an Area where the pilot have declare when he cross a line on the map. The winner is who can declare smallest result from the declared time and actual time of achieving first valid track point after the line.

Second flight: FIN – WSD – ANG
We have nice weather. The first target in the city center where we are expect lot of spectators. The hare balloon will start at 20:30 and his intended flight duration is 30 minutes. The competitors shall have to fly an Angle task after the second marker drop. Good luck!
