Two days later they landed in Yellowknife, Canada on 17th January 1991. Their flight set two new world records for distance and duration and they broke their own ground speed record. The <i>Virgin Pacific Flyer<\/i> still remains the largest hot air balloon ever built.<\/p><!--CusAds0-->\n<p>The Pacific Crossing records included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the first hot air balloon across the Pacific<\/li>\n<li>the fastest manned balloon flight<\/li>\n<li>the longest manned balloon flight<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Peak speed \u2014 239.62 mph (208 knots, 385.4 Km\/hr)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Mean Cruise Altitude \u2014 27,000 feet (8.23 Km)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Max.
